Contemplating suchness is a koan - an unanswerable question. Holding the question or tending to the curiosity can move you closer to experiential knowing. The understanding is in the experience, the mind will then conceptualize that in a way that makes sense to it. Relying on that understanding (as memory) moves one out of suchness and back into the normal reified mind. I must inform you that I am new to this way of thinking. I decided to look into Buddhism recently in order to create some foundation for my life.
