Curiously, your last three blogs mirror elements of my own experience these fall days. I wonder how much is within the Diamond Heart field and how much is just seasonal unfolding. Many spiritual systems acknowledge a spectrum of emotions peculiar to each season and fall often begets the melancholy spectrum. That said, I generally get a visit from my dead mother about this time of year. What I notice about her is that much of her emotional weight lifted upon transitioning out of the body but her consciousness remains fixed. She saw herself blocked when she was alive and she continues to see herself blocked as spirit. I appreciate more than ever the importance of weaving through emotion. history, patterned experience to get back to now which is the only place consciousness can be had. This Thanksgiving, I'll have all the usual sides: emotional casserole, mashed relationships, and my own crazy pumpkin pie history--just as long as there is some piping fresh reality to along with it. Gobble Gobble
